task

The client requested the development of a cohesive brand identity derived from their existing logo and current social media presence. This includes refining their Facebook design, enhancing their LinkedIn presentation, and creating a comprehensive brand book for use in marketing materials.

approach

To develop a compelling brand identity, I conducted research into their industry and analyzed key competitors. Based on these insights, I proposed using the name and core elements of the existing logo as the foundation for the visual identity. Additionally, a vibrant gradient color palette was introduced to ensure flexibility and brightness, enabling dynamic and engaging designs across social media platforms for various types of content.

Research & Insights

The hiring market is highly competitive, with many companies benefiting from strong visual recognition. This brand holds a leading position across Europe, America, and globally, yet its social media and marketing materials relied on a fairly standard design that lacked distinctiveness.

However, the logo contained a compelling concept—one letter transforming into another, with the “n” integrated to the “o” in “hires.” I identified this as a unique and memorable idea, and chose to expand it into a broader, more cohesive brand strategy.

Brand Concept & Strategy

I decided to build on the logo form and expand it into a more versatile visual system. It was developed to serve multiple functions—as a photo container, a graphic element, and a repeating pattern to enhance the visual dynamism of the materials.

In addition, I introduced a brighter, more vibrant color palette and created a custom icon system, ensuring the client could easily apply these elements in their day-to-day communications.

Visual Identity System

As part of this project, a comprehensive visual brand system was developed, including guidelines for logo usage, color palette, and typography, icons set along with templates for social media such as Facebook and LinkedIn. A presentation template was also created, as well as designs for corporate Zoom backgrounds and LinkedIn team avatars.

The resulting brand book serves as a practical set of guidelines, enabling the company to produce future marketing and social media materials while maintaining consistency across the overall design system and brand identity.

Applications & Brand Book

As a result of this project, the client received a comprehensive set of brand guidelines, including rules for logo usage and overall visual identity, compiled into a brand book. In addition, a wide range of templates was created to support company presentation, promotion, and marketing initiatives.

These deliverables included templates for social media, presentations, company and employee pages, as well as a framework for updating the website. The client successfully implemented these solutions and continues to use them consistently across their communications today.
