The main objective of this project was to design a mobile application and web platform from the ground up, building upon the existing logo style and wireframes provided by the client. The goal was to translate these initial visual and structural foundations into a cohesive, user-centered mobile experience.

My approach focused on creating a visually vibrant and expressive design while staying within the brand’s corporate guidelines. The goal was to ensure the interface felt stylish, modern, and intuitive for users. I developed the mobile application concept in both light and dark modes, allowing the design to adapt to business needs while enhancing its visual expressiveness and usability.

across Saudi Arabia.
App Design
Initially, the project was planned to last only a few weeks and focused on developing the core mobile flows, including registration, dashboard, portfolio, wallet, and basic settings. However, our collaboration proved so successful that the scope expanded significantly.
Over time, the mobile application grew to include more than 20 different flows, along with the addition of an accessible platform. The partnership also extended to the development and continuous improvement of the company’s business website, as well as ongoing graphic design support. What began as a short-term project evolved into a long-term collaboration that lasted for several years—something I’m truly proud of.
Registration
User registration in this application is more complex than in a typical product because it begins with a clear user segmentation process. At the start, users are asked to define their role—for example, whether they are an investor, a borrower , an individual investor, or a business.
Based on this initial classification, users proceed through several stages of verification and onboarding before gaining full access to the appropriate version of the application, whether for an individual or a professional account.
To support this process, I designed a flexible system of components that could adapt to different user paths. These components dynamically request the relevant information and verification depending on the selected user type.
In addition, we developed a notification system to keep users informed about the status of their onboarding process and any important updates or changes related to their account.
Opportunities
The Opportunities section allows users to explore all investment objects that are currently active or will become available soon, along with their detailed information.
To support this, I designed a flexible card-based system with key indicators that clearly communicate the status of each opportunity and highlight the main actions available to the user.
Depending on the situation, users may receive an invitation to invest in a specific opportunity and can choose to accept the offer, or they can open the detailed view to learn more about the investment and proceed with investing directly within the application.
Swart Wallets
Smart Wallet is a feature that allows users to automatically configure their wallet based on a specific financial goal. After completing a short onboarding flow—where the user selects a goal, sets a target amount, and chooses a timeframe—the system automatically sets up a savings plan. The app then saves a predefined percentage of the user’s income toward that goal without requiring any additional actions from the user.
Users can easily manage their Smart Wallets by adjusting settings, creating new wallets for different goals, or deleting existing ones. This feature operates separately from the standard wallet, which supports traditional functions such as depositing, withdrawing, and transferring money to or from the user’s account.
Zakat feature
The primary audience of the application is residents of Saudi Arabia. For this reason, a dedicated tax payment feature called Zakat was developed specifically for their needs. Within the app, users can easily configure and automate their Zakat payments. The system can calculate and pay Zakat directly from investment income, simplifying what can often be a complex process. This allows users to handle their tax obligations easily, clearly, and without unnecessary steps or confusion.
Auto-Invest feature
As you may have noticed, the core purpose of the application is to automate as many processes as possible and simplify the investor’s experience. One of the key features developed for this is Auto-Invest, which allows users to set up and automate their investment process.
With this feature, users can configure recurring investments, define their investment strategy, and build their portfolio directly within the app. This eliminates the need for external services, additional analytics tools, or third-party advisors. As a result, the process becomes faster, more efficient, and more cost-effective for investors.
Borrowers feature
Since the platform is an investment application supported by the Saudi Arabian government, it also enables the company to offer loans to investors for projects within this sector.
As part of the app, a dedicated Borrowers section was developed, allowing users to apply for loans directly within the platform. Through a guided onboarding process, users can submit a loan request, provide all the necessary project details and supporting information for review, and track the status of their application. Once the evaluation is complete, users receive the response directly in the app.
Web Platform Design
To provide greater convenience and accessibility, the platform was developed for both mobile devices and desktop (laptops and computers). This allows investors to interact with the platform in the way that best suits their workflow and preferences.
With support across multiple devices, users can manage their investments, configure features, and access the platform from anywhere in the world. This flexibility ensures a more seamless experience and allows investors to easily customize and control their financial activities whenever they need.
Web Site Design & Design Support
In addition, I contributed to various graphic and motion design tasks, including creating presentations, certificates, flyers, video animation and other marketing materials that the client required throughout the collaboration.
Result
After the launch of the platform and application, the company successfully passed verification from the Saudi Arabian government and the Central Bank, confirming its status as a trusted investment platform. It went on to become one of the key players in the real estate investment market in Saudi Arabia.
This was a significant milestone for the company and, for me personally, another exciting project that I was proud to help design and bring to life.
